Here’s another practicing drawing I did from the Lee J. Ames book “Draw 50 Buildings”. It’s one of the famous UK landmark, Big Ben.
Big Ben is actually the nickname of the bell itself, not of the clock or clock tower itself found in London, England. The bell was cast in 1856 and had to be recast after getting damaged. It would be chimed for the first time in 1859.
This drawing is not bad…but I still need to work on my drafting. I do recommend the books of Lee J. Ames a lot. They are sort of like exercise videos.
