Arthur Rackham

Today, I thought I’d talk about another skilled artist who demonstrated a superior talent with the medium of pen-and-ink.  That man was Arthur Rackham.

Arthur Rackham (1867-1939) was an English illustrator best known for his renditions of fairy tale works.  He did many works in monotone and in color work.

But you don’t have to take my word for it.  Just check out this video full of illustrations that he did for a 1910 book version of Ring of the Nibelung.  (Thanks to shivabel of YouTube for putting this together.)
